This is a very well done rifle chambered in 7.62X63 which is 30-06. The barrel is 24” long and the bore is excellent. There is a solid rib on the barrel that has wavy line stippling. It is marked Sport U. Waffen – Dschulnigg – Salzburg Austria in the blank in the stippling. There is a Kales 4X60 scope with bold post and cross hair and clear optics mounted. There is a tang safety as well and the cocking piece safety. There are double set triggers that function perfectly. There is also a spoon handle bolt and a lever release floor plate. All the metal is nicely Germanic engraved with Oak leaf scroll and animals in the trigger guard and floor plate. The wood is very well done although the swelled forend takes some getting used to. It is not traditional looking but the big swell is very functional and comfortable to shoot. The traditional style comb has an extendable section that can be moved up to accommodate you using the scope. The high comb can simply be removed. This is a very well done rifle.
