Weatherby 257 Weatherby magnum West German made $1650.00
This was made in 1963 and is a Mark V. The serial number is 39999 and the barrel is 24” long and the bore is very good. The scope is a Bushnell Scopecheif 3X-9X with clear optics. The reticle is a very fine cross hair with a bold post I believe it called Command Post. The wood is very nice with no structural problems and the finish has some very slight crazing mostly under the cheek rest. There is a small glued back on piece on the pistol grip, see the photos. The Weatherby pad is still soft and functional. There are a few handling and use marks on the wood, nothing bad at all and there is 96+% finish on the metal. The finish on the scope has some marks where it sat in the rings a bit forward of where it is now. Over all a very good gun in a desirable caliber.
